To secure the order, the client is required to provide a deposit of $(insert amount) upon signing this contract. The deposit is non-refundable and will be applied towards the final payment.

Down Payment

The client is required to provide a down payment of (insert amount/percentage) to reserve the date and time dedicated to the order. This payment is used by the supplier to cover any expenses during preparation.

Final Payment

The final payment should always be before or during delivery or pickup to avoid the hassle of follow-ups.

The final payment is due (insert number of days) days prior to the delivery or pickup date. Failure to make the final payment may result in the cancellation of the order. The supplier reserves the right to refuse delivery or setup if the final payment has not been received.

Cake Changes

This clause is necessary to avoid remaking the cake after a major portion is complete.

Any changes to the cake design, flavors, or size must be communicated to the supplier in writing no later than (insert number of days) days prior to the delivery or pickup date. Changes requested after this deadline may incur additional charges or be impossible to accommodate.

Cake Set/Stand

Including this clause helps protect the supplier from losses.

The supplier will provide a cake set/stand as part of the order. The client is responsible for returning the cake set/stand to the supplier within (insert number of days) days after the wedding. Failure to return the cake set/stand may result in additional charges or deductions from the deposit.

Delivery & Setup

If the client fails to provide access to the venue at the agreed-upon time, the supplier isn’t responsible for setting up the cake as planned.

The supplier will deliver and set up the cake at the specified venue at the agreed-upon time. It is the client's responsibility to ensure someone is available to receive the cake and provide access to the venue. The supplier is not responsible for any damages to the cake after the setup is complete.

Cancellation Policy

This clause helps protect the supplier from any losses or material wastage.

In the event of a cancellation, the client must provide written notice to the supplier. The deposit is non-refundable. If the event is canceled within (insert number of days) days of the delivery or pickup date, the client is responsible for the full payment.

Flowers

Fresh flowers are usually provided about 24 hours before the event.

If the cake design includes fresh flowers, the client is responsible for providing the flowers to the supplier in a timely manner. If they cannot, sufficient notice is to be provided by the client. The supplier will not be liable for any damages to the flowers after they are incorporated into the cake.

Ornaments/Toppers

Cake toppers should be provided at least one week in advance to help set up the cake around it.

Any ornaments or cake toppers provided by the client must be delivered to the supplier in advance. The supplier will not be responsible for any damages to the ornaments or toppers during the setup or removal process. If the supplier is providing the toppers/ornaments, they must consult with the client to ensure the design is per their liking.

Picking Up Your Cake

Clients usually prefer picking up the cake if there isn’t too much assembling needed.

If the client chooses to pick up the cake instead of having it delivered, it is their responsibility to ensure proper transportation and care of the cake. The supplier will not be responsible for any damages that occur during transportation or after the cake leaves their premises. The cake will be ready for pickup (insert time here) hours before the event.

Our Guarantee

This clause shows that the supplier has confidence in their abilities and will deliver the cake as promised.

The supplier guarantees that the cake will be made with high-quality ingredients, skill, and care. However, in the unlikely event that the cake does not meet the client's agreed-upon specifications or is not delivered as planned, the supplier's liability is limited to the refund of the amount paid for the cake.
