Why am I still receiving Arlo email alerts even though I turned off Arlo Smart notifications?
If you enabled Email Alerts as a rule on one of your cameras, you still receive email alerts even if you turn off Arlo Smart notifications on your phone or in the Arlo app. To stop receiving email alerts, you must disable Email Alerts as a rule for each of your armed cameras.
To turn Arlo email alerts on/off:
- Launch the Arlo app or log in to your Arlo account at my.arlo.com.
- Tap or click Mode > Camera or Base Station Name.
- Tap or click the pencil icon for a mode.
- Tap or click the pencil icon under the Rules section.
- Under the Alert section, select or clear the check box next to Email Alerts. This turns on/off email notifications.
Note: You can also change the email address for email alerts by tapping or clicking the pencil icon next to the Email Alerts checkbox.
- Tap or click Save to apply the changes.
To enable Arlo Smart notifications:
- Launch the Arlo app or log in to your Arlo account at my.arlo.com.
- Tap or click Settings.
- Under ARLO SMART, tap or click Smart Notifications.
- Select a camera for which you want to receive Arlo Smart notifications.
- Tap or click one or more of the sliders next to People, Vehicles, Animal, and All Other Motion.
