Nursing at the College of Coastal Georgia offers degrees for those seeking either initial nursing licensure, or nurses looking to advance their career to meet the demands of a competitive workforce.
Depending on student preference, the School of Nursing and Health Sciences offers traditional, pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degrees. Associate degree nurses currently practicing can continue their education towards a Bachelor’s degree in nursing through our RN to BSN program.
Clinical Experience
- With a synergistic relationship with the Southeast Georgia Health System and more than 40 other local and regional clinical facilities, Coastal Georgia students receive varied and valuable clinical experiences.
Practical Instruction
- Nursing programs at Coastal Georgia focus on applied learning and critical thinking.
Full-time Faculty
- Nursing students are taught exclusively by full-time faculty. Instruction is tailored to student needs in smaller-sized classes.

- Our students have access to state-of-the-art simulation and laboratory facilities in the Miriam and Hugh Nunnally Health and Science Building.
